swaping levers

i'm changeing levers and got stuck trying to get the little plunger out on the front brake. didn't want to put any heat to it being bottum of plunger is nylon. so i tryed to freeze it with that loctite. heard it's real good. one of the techs at the harley shop swears by it. so i tried it and the top of the screw shatterd:bang::bang:. does anyone no where to get these without waiting a long time :angry::angry:thanx

I had the same problem when I changed mine out. What I did was screwed them all the way in till it came out the bottom. They would not come out, but they would go in :loony::loony:. I fucked one cause I left it to long and lost the tip or little ball in it. I was never able to find or get one. The dealer didn't know what I was talking about so I just gave up and put the screw back in and added a thick piece of hard plastic (Weed Eater cord) :lol: and it still work. If you find a source let me know :2thumbs:

gateway found some in some levers laying around.i bought those and bikers dream said bd had some in stock 6 i think so i got 2 from them to so i will have 2 left over.just seeing who will get them to me first. you can have the 2 left over for what i pd 12-13 dollars wow let me know .thanx :2thumbs::2thumbs: hoping they'll get here quick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
