There is no cranking from the starter

Hi, I am new to this site this is actually my first post. I have a 2002 Bulldog. I love the bike has plenty of power and runs great. I would recommend a big dog to anyone. I have an issue right now with my bike. When I go to start the bike the starter will not engage. All of my lights work properly. I have not tried to start the bike for about 2 weeks since the last time I rode it, and then this happens. I don't have a fluke to test voltage. I took the cover off of my starter and pushed the plunger in. The starter does crank, so I ruled out the starter. I have heard a lot of issues with the starter module. I replaced the starter module with a relay to test it. Still bike has power to all of the lights, but will not turn over. I am thinking that I might have a bad ehc, but not one hundred percent sure. I am open for any suggestions. I know that I should get a voltage meter and check out the wiring. I am just curious if anyone has had a simular issue. Like I stated the bike ran awesome before I parked it two weeks ago. Any help would be appreciated.

A multi-meter is your best friend, you should get one their not too expensive. Your problem can be anything at this point. Battery, bad wire, bad start switch in the handle bar control ect... A meter would eliminate a lot of these. By the way welcome to the fourm, may I suggest you go to the introductions section and post an intro when you can...
Do you keep the bike on a tender? Forgot to add, the easiest thing you can do for now is check your battery cables for tightness and check the cables at the starter for tightness. This has happened to several members on here before...:2thumbs:

First question, did you push the run button on? Do you hear any clicks under the gas tanks, if so it would be the starter relay board which plugs in under the EHC module.
You say you pushed the plunger on the starter and the motor cranked over, then the battery should be good, but it needs 12.8 volts minimum to crank. If not the starter relay you need to get a ele. meter and start chasing wires from starter button back and forward.
Good luck! Let us know your progress.
