throttle cables

can someone tell me how to adjust my throttle cables on my mutt up where they connect into the throttle they are very loose and flap around when i ride yet they are adjusted as far as they go to make them tighter almost like they are the wrong size cable or some thing is missing like a spacer or something.

Perform a search on this issue. It's been talked about quite a bit on here. The cables aren't supposed to be tight, most are loose and should be able to flex when throttling up and down, but the cables should not come out of the bottom of the control. The part that holds the cables on the carb might. Need to be changed. S&s sight will have the part # one is taller so adjusting is easy.assuming your carb not efi then no idea.back to s&s sight go to tech look up carb and look for yours peace
