Too much oil in the Carb

Fellas,

I have a little too much oil coming out thru my carburetor. Its nothing excessive but after going for a long ride it seeps out under the bottom of the air filter cover and some of it splashes down on my pipes. There's always been a tad bit of oil coming out, but not like this.....what causes this? And what should I be checking for?

If you put to much oil in you will get excess blowby a little is comon in your motor I ran a hose from the breather to a puke can to solve the problem

Yeah I may have a tad bit too much oil, gotta double check.

It'c common on the 03's. My Pitbull spits oil out of the filter also. First check your oil level and make sure it's not over filled. Then try to hook up a puke can to your crank breather and let your heads breathe throug the filter. I found that my blw by came from the crank case breather hose which is the hose in the back. You can go the expensive way and change out your entire intake where the breather will go back into the carb. Wimmer and Drag Specialties make one.
