BIKE UPRIGHT, CHECK TO TOP RING, NOT SCRWED IN!!!
Horse, you need to refer to your manual cause new Big Dogs have them checking it upright while my 05 is checked on the stand.
Don't know what Roadmax requirements are as all BD bikes are Baker Trannies.

Horse, found this for you. Says to check "horizontally" if I read it right for the RSD tranny.

the confusing part is that the manual says check to the sight plug with bike hot and upright it doesnt even mention the trans has a dipstick. If I fill it to the sight hole it would show way overful on the stick.
maybe I will just get it up to temperature and do it the way American ironhorse says. I hope this oil is as good as everyone says after this lol.
