trans leaks

What would cause a trans fluid to leak from vent tube???While in sturgis it happend ,took it to the Baker tent they changed tran's,and primary fluid to make sure about proper levels.Now today same thing happend..

Are you sure its from the tranny? Are you using a RED tranny oil that confirms that? It may appear its from the vent tube but take your time in tracing that leak - I have seen this on quite a few and surprisingly the leak is from up front arount the crank area. Check again and tighten all the primary bolts - in the correct sequence (follow the manual).

Oil leak from the starter will appear to be the trans vent tube also. Check the bottom of your starter for oil.

I agree with RRRuff, my starter leaked on my 07 Mastiff. Gateway BigDog replaced it
under warranty about two months ago.

MINE DID THE SAME THING AFTER IT WAS SERVICED,CLEANED OFF THE VENT TUBE TO MAKE SURE,AN IT WAS ABOUT THE SIZE OF A DIME EVERYTIME ON THE FLOOR.THAT WAS ABOUT A MONTH AGO,BUT NOW 5TH GEAR BLEWOUT AN TRASHED THE TRANSMISSON.NO WORK NO CAN FIX.BUMMER,OH WELL IT COULD BE WORSE....:flag:

if the Baker trans is just a touch overfull they will vent after getting hot.My 07 k-9 did the same thing.
