Transmission Drain Plug Leaking

After changing trans fluild I notice my drain plug leaking slightly so I drain and seal plug again to no avail. I used a thread sealer I bought at Ace hardware, kinda blue in color.................. is there somthing that actually works because this stuff doesn't. Please advise..:bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:

I just wrap mine with teflon tape. :2thumbs:

I'll give the teflon a try

Make sure you wrap the tape backwards. That way when you spin in the plug it tightens the tape not push it off.
