Need some HELP!!!
As I was riding over the weekend, started hearing a load sqeak coming on deceleration, any time I let off the throttle or hit the brake. Sounds like it's comming from the primary. Checked all fluids and lubed all cables, can not narrow down, any thoughts let me know.......:) All is well guys, found washer in pad and rubbing rotor.

squeaks can come from a few different places and sound like they are from a totally different place. your drive belt tension should be 5/8" to 7/8" with 10ft/lbs of force to check it I think. you brakes will make a whining sound because of the drilled rotors. some brake pads such as lyndall brake pads can help alleviate the sound some. also the two drive pulleys are coated with teflon and that can wear off. if you belt tension is correct and the rear wheel is aligned properly, you could try some belt dressing, which is powdered teflon I think. if its not any of this, you may want to check the tension of the primary chain and the condition of the tensioner shoe assuming you still have the original primary.

Need more info.......

Do you still have the BDM enclosed stock primary?

Is it CONTINUOS squeaking noise or a rythmed squeak?

Front or rear brake?

Does the squeak go away when the brake is released?

How many miles on the bike?

Does the belt drive ride in the center of the rear rotor?

The 04 Mastiff's didnt come with teflon pulley's.If you suspect the belt just spray some Dupont Teflon Dry Wax spray on the belt and ride it.If the noise continues search on.You might also check the rattle clips on the brake pads to see if one broke.Another squeak possible from the top motor mount(coil cover) being loose.I have tried aligning my wheel, belt ,trans and motor my belt still squeaks.I have been told bdm had some bad pulley's in 04.I also was told there were some swing arms that went out bent.Had that fixed under warranty still squeaks.I will be sending my pulley out to Supermax for teflon coating this winter if all works out.The owner of supermax passed away but I heard his wife is running things now.My bike is an 04 masiff.hope this helps.good luck:cheers:

Found the noise once the piece of a washer grooved my rear rotor. Removed washer and now its time to buy a rotor. All is good!
