Cutting out issue

Carbureted 117. Having a cut out issue. Bike is a little tough to start but once warms up runs great with one exception. It will accelerate great with no issues but when cruising at lower rpms it will sometimes do a quick cut out. Almost like click. Accelerate or keep at higher rpms no issues. Replaced plugs and coil. I did check fur intake manifold leak. When a spray carb cleaner in front intake it will almost dies and then comes back. Assuming that is intake manifold leak so I should replace seals. Would this intake leak cause the quick cut out I referenced. Like I said, once warm no idle issues and this only occurs intermittent hot at low speed or coming off throttle. Any help is appreciated.

The test is to spray carb cleaner at points where AIR should NOT be entering.
What air cleaner is on the bike, is it stock?

Cutting out or Misfire? Sometimes hard to know. I don't think a leaking intake manifold would cause that problem. You should check for leaks after the main intake like where the manifold connects to the heads or in between. What happened to you would be expected because you were flooding out the system. Check for cracks in the little rubber caps on the carb.
I would start by dropping the carb bowl and cleaning the jets and testing the function of the float. If your problem still remains the crank sensor (as suggested by Mr Wright) is a likely suspect. They love to be intermittent and are very difficult if not impossible to eliminate as a cause without just replacing it.
Hard starting is typically a Carb symptom and cutting out leans more toward an electrical issue especially when the problem seems to happen after the bike is warmed up.

Yes, both. That could be your pop, that could be your hard starting. That air entering the chamber is not mixed with gas, and the vacuum pull out the jets is less. Hot expands some so it's more hot than the air leak signing off. I'd first stop the leak. Probably fuel ratio than something electrical, since the coil and plugs did shit. So I'd stop short of bowl dropping and sensor chasing. One thing at a time or you learn nothing.
