03 chopper, no crank

What I know.. not much yet :)
Green wire to starter is dead.. starter button pushed..
I can run hot jumper to starter selonoid and it will crank .
Getting no movement/sound from compression release's
When I push crank button heald lamp goes out .. never paid attention to that before.

Thunderheart ignition module led does not light with key on, maybe that's normal

You may have a problem with your Ignition switch/Starter module. Page 10-11 will give you information about it. Be sure to check your grounds pg 8 .
FYI Your headlight should go out when the start button is pressed in order to reduce the load on the battery during the start cycle.

Problem solved ..

Found splice in harness that was open ..
Small yellow wire that goes/comes from ECU . The thunderheart led now lights with key on too.

History ... guy I bought from "said"
Bike was inop when he purchased as is.
Said he knew it had electrical issue(s)
He had a friend with bike electrical knowledge get it going . Hey I got it for the right price too haha . It was rockin by time I got my hands on it lol

Okay I've looked at this area before and concluded someone had rerouted, bypassed things probably .. Without bike lift, ambition, and knowledge I've chose to let well enough alone . It does grind my conscious some ..
