I'm new to this forum and have no idea how to pm, my question is I have a wire plus 374 module installed already that took a poop. Can I still use one of these units to replace it?? The wire plus unit was already on the bike when I purchased it and it just went out a week ago.

Curtis at wildsteedworx.com will have the extra bit of wiring harness you'll need to change it back. I have one in my shop now, that needs the same thing done.

Hi guys! I have two of these sets - see photos. Please tell me how to properly connect them to my..BIG DOG. K-9 (2007 s&s 117 carburettor) to protect the module from Axel.. I read this whole topic, and the instructions for these kits, and I have the opinion that they are connected to my K-9 differently than their instructions say... Unfortunately, I'm not very good at electrical engineering, so I really ask for your help installing these kits on my K-9. I really hope for your help!

Hi Butsch,
Thanks for the info. The Kemo device is just an overvoltage protection device what should be installed with a fuse. It just short plus and minus in case of an overvoltage, resulting that the fuse trip and everything after the fuse is protected against overvoltages.
However, I had also some problems with overvoltages 2 years ago due to the chip shortage before The now availabe chips have 28 Volt maximum survival voltages and the older chips had 42 Volt before. They were very strong and overvoltage tolerant. The new chips had more fails and returns in the first time and it tooks me some time with try and error to find out the right protection diodes for the new chips what are now implemented in all EHC. The problem is solved and the protection is working fine now.
By the way, the new EHC have now a relay for the starter integrated. I had from time to time returns with a defect starter output and have now switched to a traditional slim line starter relay and it seems that the number of defect devices is now almost zero compare to the 30 Ampere silicon switches but the time will tell...
Thanks to you all for your patience if you had experienced an issue with the older EHC. I have changed all defect EHC as warranty devices but I know it´s not funny if the bike is "out of order" for some weeks due to a defect EHC.

My friends who received the new EHC modules under warranty are very grateful!. Axel - about my question on this topic. Below is a photo with the module number I bought from you in 2020 or 2021. I don't remember exactly) So I'm attaching a photo with my module number. I am sure that this number will tell you exactly what components it contains. Please tell me later which of my protection kits should be installed, and how!) With biker greetings!

Thanks for the info. You shouldn´t have any issues with this module, cause it´s with the older and stronger chips.
About the overvoltage protection module: You can wire it between the fuse and your EHC. Don´t wire it direct to the battery, only behind of the fuse.
