I came into an 02 mastiff and I cant for the life of me figure out why oil is pouring from the breather tube. I read it could be the ball on the check valve or over filled but its not over filled. Ive looked at multiple diagrams for the 107 v twin s&s motor and nothing shows the oil pan having four hoses coming from it like it is on mine. If someone can point me to what is wrong with the hoses id appreciate it greatly.

Everything you have in your pics is correctly hooked up...first pic is the oil tank drain...2nd pic is your crank case breather...the other oil lines are hooked up correctly to the pump, block and the filter housing...

Harry is correct the bike is most likely oil sumping from setting long periods at a time and filling the motor full of oil and that will cause one to blow excessive oil out of the breather...I have seen them smoke out the exhaust like crazy plus oil coming out of the exhaust going every where...now with that said the ball inside the pump may not be sealing good cause of a piece of trash or the ball spring might be a little weak..no worries either way as I see this happen all the time...most of the time they just need to run for a little bit and it will put the oil back in the tank but yes it will make mess in the process...

Just crank the bike more often to help from sumping or clean the ball and seat with a new spring..

wrong oil filter can cause great dsamage.
i go conform with Hman and Knot - case filled nwith oil.in case of a longer
period without using.
Case pressure pump it out.
I mentioned the oil filter issue since it's a bike new to his possesion and most of use would do a fluids change in short order so we have a known starting point for maintenance.
If he just got it home nad tried startign -- yeah its sumping and should clear itself after a short run and more frequent use.
