I have a 2008 Ridgeback. The exhaust has to be done something with as its loude but i dont know whats been done beside new electricks. The bike runs a bit jerky around town at maby 30kmh. Im also missing the return wire on the throttle but this is not why its jerky i think. Was told its a carb issue? On highway it runs fine

I would get the throttle cable fixed first. There is a reason for the return cable. If you happen to break the throttle cable with the throttle stuck wide open your next visit will be to your next life.
A loose primary chain can cause jerking. Also dogging the bike by being in too high a gear for the speed.

Thats a good point. I have a wire in order . Im not "dogging" the bike (Dogging, isent that a UK hobby of sorts ). I think its carb related so ill have it to a shop and have them adjust it....
This carburetor tuning guide will help you make the adjustments. Give it a try before you take the bike to the shop. It can't hurt and may save you a few NOK !
You mentioned that the exhaust was too loud. It's possible the previous owner removed the baffles and that is causing your engine too run jerky. Straight exhaust can cause decel pop and overall poor performance.

Basic two throttle cable adjustment.

1. Take the slack out of the safety return cable first.
2. Take up the slack that is left on the open throttle cable to zero.
3. Turn the bars from lock to lock with the bike idling. Note a rise in rpm. Loosen the open throttle cable with more slack.

Know who to turn in or out with the low speed screw.

1. Screw on the head side is fuel.
2. Screw on the air cleaner side is air.

In is air to add rich.
Out is fuel to add rich.
Increments of 1/4 turn to adjust then ride. Repeat the 1/4 turn more/less then ride to note difference.
