Check for 12v power at the coils. Its been known for those little ring connectors to break off the wire.

I believe you can test it with resistence. Either check a manual or with nighttrain

Maybe JoshT will type up the troubleshooting he did considering he just went through the same thing?

...no spark turns over fine but won't lite...
Just went through that. Had taken Dog to shop, asked to check primary, install new Thunder Heart, couple of other things. Right in the middle of moving, just no time for taking care of the bikes, so I figured let the Pro do some work while I'm packing and transporting boxes.

Short version is that the mechanic had removed the stock IM, but gave up installing the new unit, re-installed the stock.
"Too busy with other commitments...)

Went to pick up the bike on the way home from work; turned over fine, but no spark. EHC and IM LEDs were all correct, but spark plug tester stayed "flat line".

Turns out he had dislodged the connector pin for the red wire (power to the coil). Reseated pin in connector, and all is well.

Will install new Thunder Heart mydamself after the dust settles from moving.
