bkingjr sorry to here about your down time,I was hoping we would ride some day, being you dont live far from me, but look @ it this way you have lots of time to spend with those hotties, J K hope you get everything fixed

THAT'S RIGHT POOT. SORRY, I DID NOT MEN TO TAKE OVER YOUR POST. I REALLY HOPE YOU FIND A SOLUTON. ONE GOOD THING - BDM WILL MAKE THINGS RIGHT FOR YOU. ABOUT 25 (SERIOUSLY) PROBLEMS AGO, THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME. THEY EVENTUALLY REPLACED MY GAS CAP, FUEL PETCOCK,STARTER AND THE IGNITION SWITCH.

Not a problem on High Jacking the post...My Problem was minor and taken care of.

UPDATE- The shop picked up the bike that monday and called a couple hours later and said when they drained the tank it was the worst gas they had seen. It ended up gel-ing and clogged the Carb. They cleaned it out and I picked it up with no problem and no charge.

If it wasn't under warranty and they weren't willing to pick it up and take care of it, I probably would have figured it out pretty quick.

After reading months of posts and negative things and problems, I initially freaked out and was afraid it was something big. Now I'm ready to enjoy it and not expect the worst.

That's great new Poot. How long had that gas been in there?

For storage, many here recommend (and I have personally used) Stabil during my last 6-month deployment and it worked fine. :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

The gas was only about a minute old! I put 4 gallons of gas in, I was leaving the station and it started sputtering about 50ft later.

And you didn't go right back to the gas station? :confused:

I make a habit to never buy gas when the station is getting a delivery. All the shit in their underground tanks get stirred up...
