Here is the first pics of the new exhaust on my 07 K9. Stainless Creations Disorder pipes. Insanely loud and obnoxious. I just have to get a cover plate for the old exhaust mounting point and if anyone has ideas for the based on their pipe setup would appreciate it. I also need to get some touch up paint for my frane it seems the old exhaust rubbed the swingarm a little bit and I have a scrape on it that rubbed off the paint to the primer.

I have been talking to Ray and Dave about some stainless covers...
Ray is supposed to get me a full size picture of a boot with the proper hole pattern.

Cut something out or draw something up and send it, and I will cut it for you.

On my way to report for unemployment right now, but still have acces to machinery(laser - cnc's)

Need to expedite this, or we will need to look into a group buy for laser time...

Notice the pipes blue/brown up real quick? Right leg get awfully hot? Tired of sticking right leg out 1/2 mile to clear the HOT zone? Check your electronics cover on the right side & see if you can feel the clear coat getting a little thin close to the pipe area. Front pipe right up against the breather & I can see heat causing carb problems in the hot summers. This is just some of my complaints with the Hooker Four Bidden pipes & mine have only a couple of hundred miles on them. They are definitely coming off in a week or so. If only I had my stock exhaust back it would be done already!

I wish I had more money.
I agree with the heat.

Here's some Evo pipes with some custom brackets to mount. I like them. Kind of Old School Chopper plus 1 3/4" long drags keep backpressure up so runs good. 2004 Ridgeback.

Hooker Troublemakers on my 02 Bulldog

I got these pipes after discovering that they were selling for 75% off while reading a forum here. Thanks guys! These went on with incredible ease. Hooker is a great company. To bad they're getting out of the motorcycle business. The pipes sound and perform great.

08 Big Dog K9 with custom "Venom" pipes from Northwoodz

I just purchased some black heat wrap (2000 deg rated) for the pipes as I noticed they blue'd like crazy just after 10 miles.

I'm trying to decide if I just should just wrap about a foot from the header (just before the first bends) or if I should wrap so that about a foot is left on each tip (after the last bends right before the arc at the ends).

Those look a lot like the Stainless Creations Chaos III that I just ordered. Are these chrome or stanless steel?

When you ask a question in a multi thread you should "quote" the post that you are asking the question of so we know which post you are referring to.
If it's the one above yours then he clearly stated they are Northwoodz pipes.

Anyway, many of us here have the Stainless Creation pipes. I have two sets myself. Keep an eye on your bracket when you get them. The stainless breaks easy (unless the bike is sitting in the garage). :D

They're chrome...

also, they didn't come with any mounting hardware and the stock hardware doesn't fit.

I'm no expert on this stuff, right now its all being held on by the flanges and seems to be doing fine. Does anyone have an extra mounting bracket or know how I could pick one up that may fit these... I fear that the Chaos III may look the same but don't mount the same.... I found these pipes called like 4 different things online: radii venom, harley drag venom... this guy up north claims he made these *shrugs*.

Many custom pipes don't come with brackets cause there are too many models of bikes out there. So you need to make one with some 1/4 plate strap steel. Don't let them hang like you are or they will break off your exhaust studs. Believe me I know.
