While on the subject of enrichener, I know it's not popular, but I use mine every-time I start my bike cold. For the first 1.5 years I had the bike, I did the 2 twists of the throttle as recommended and then a mechanic showed me a method that has really worked well for me.
- Barely tweak the throttle once
- while hitting the start button, gradually start lifting the enrichener
(it will usually start before I have even lifted it halfway)
- once engine starts, immediately push enrichener back down
My bike starts everytime, usually on the first try like this and my plugs have never fowled because of it. Again this works when the engine is cold, usually the first start of the day.

Let me add, my bike use to be a pain in the ass to start, I would sometimes flood it and my plugs would fowl occasionally. Since I switched to this method, no starting issues and no fowled plugs in 4+ years.

Not as long as you don't mind him bidding on his own shit to jack the price up. If you look carefully at the bidding history, you will see bidders that ONLY bid on his auctions and no one else's. Also, they have won numerous items from him, and have a 0% feedback rating. It's quite obvious, but egay dosen't care because he pays them money in listing fees and final value fees.

Yep you're right about the auctions. I did get the S&S Despardo from him on a "buy it now" for $65 and that was a deal compared to list of around $120. There are a lot of Ebay stores that I'm convinced have a buddy bidder system. Screw em!

No, I'm not. I did not pay for the item after I saw that he artificially raised the price by bidding on the item himself, therefore I was not able to leave feedback. If you don't mind paying what he is able to get from you, have at it. You need to understand that this does not apply to a "buy it now" auction. Also, you have to be able to do a little research and understand how egay works.

I've been following his cam sales. In the last week he has sold three (3) .600 new cams at about $50.
I bought a lot of things from him and will do again.

That's great Ray. I am not here to start a war about this guy, if you're happy with him, have at it. I only know what I know, and that is that he inflates his prices. I have sold a number of things on ebay, and I take what I get. It is much easier to put a reserve price on the item and not have to worry about it selling, (because it won't). Now, having said that, I have used way too much information that you have provided to everyone to let a small matter like this come between us, or even me and the forum. This forum is a wealth of information, and I use your input when you respond to someone else's question to my benefit. Sorry if I offended anyone, I was simply trying to make people aware and help them as they have helped me.

So again, cheers!

Not disagreeing with you just stating my experience with him.
But I would ask how you think he inflates prices? Just for the rest of us to understand.
In the example you posted above (140334416894) are you saying this P***5 is inflating his prices for him?

I'm confused also. If "whoever" bids and the price gets too high, I QUIT! I can't imagine that this guy or his buddys sit around at near the end of each item and auction to jack up the price a little bit (but then again "it's a buyer beware world" out their.

I personally have bought $$$thousands of dollars worth of parts from this guy and have been satisfied. And I have talked to him on the phone several times.

Like Ray, just trying to understand the problem.

Ok, let me try to explain it without getting my ass in a sling. I say that because as a LEO, I would typically have sufficent evidence to prove my case in a court of law. Things being what they are, I am on the east coast and he is in the midwest, therefore I do not have access to the "official" records of ebay nor his member account.
Ray, you asked about a specific buyer who is identified as "P***7", or some such nonsense. If you look at his buying history, he has made several purchases of "legos". Typically "legos" are cheap, and can be bought for a couple of dollars. A person could create an account, and make a few purchases of a couple of dollars and build some reputation. Does it not seem odd that someone would buy nothing but "legos" and an S&S camshaft? You may say that I am being suspicious, or even paranoid, but that is why I am excellent at what I do for a living.
To answer the second question, no, I do not think that he or his "associates" are waiting for the auction to end to outbid everyone else. All you have to do is enter a "maximum" bid at the price you want, and the item will not sell unless someone else goes higher than the max bid. Why, you say, would someone do this as a seller? You need to know something about human nature, if someone thinks the seller wants too much for something, it's not a bargan. If someone else is willing to pay more money than you are, it must be worth more than you think. Again, I am NOT accusing anyone of anything, this is simply my opinion. I would suggest that you do your own extensive research and make your own conclusion.
