Hi everyone. i was doing my inspection of the primary, Chain very loose as seen in pics but the question is at the end of the starter at the bendix that engages the fly wheel is the teeth on the end that engages first suppose to be at an angle? hard to see in the pics but there are all that way and not worn down. Man the dum ass dog that had this bike before me didnt do anything to it. let me know if this is right. also inside the inspection plate of the primary, it says to use 1.5 quart instead of just 1 Quart. which is right?:loony:

well i am fixing to tear down the starter because it will stick engaged sometimes and need to know if i need to replace it. Kinda wierd if it stays engaged, just put it in gear real quick and out it goes....

Don't forget to check those sprocket nuts also.

Trans clutch hub shaft nut (Left handed Threads) 1-3/16 socket 150 ft lbs to seat hub 1st, loosen then tighten to 120 ft-lbs - red loctite
Engine drive sprocket nut (1-5/16 socket)
150-165 ft-lbs - red loctite

1 quart primary fluid of choice. I use the HD brand non-synthetic
