Driveability Issues... please help!!!

Hey guys... i've got an 04 Chopper with the typical mods (samson exhaust, wimmer intake, rejetted). The bike is has been having some issues lately thats driving me bananas.

It starts up fine, can hold idle, but it sputters on acceleration. It seems worst when i'm cruising, then give it WOT around 2500rpm. The bike falls flat on its face, almost like the rev limiter kicks in.

I've had a shop pull the codes... nothing. They even tried playing with the carb... with the only outcome of moving when the problem up to 3500rpm.

I even called BigDog... they mentioned the cam sensor.

Any advice/info. I've been playing around with this for the past 2 1/2 weeks and need to ride!

If you rejetted it's a carb setup, why is this in the EFI section

Do you have a vented gas cap? this have been know to cause fuel stavation and the fix is simply remove the check valve. Also have you checked the screen on the fuel petcock for blockage, trashk, etc.

I say gas cap vent too.

What jets are in it? Are you using the enrichener? Have you installed new plugs since it started this?
Need more info. Is it running good under 2500 rpm? Do you smell fuel around the bike when it's idleing?
Again are you using the enrichener?

Thanks for the replies. I just realized I'm in the EFI section. Opps.

As for your questions, I'll check with the fuel starvation. Plugs were changed at last service. Don't recall the jetting. I am using an enricherner, but don't smell fuel.

It is a inrichener not a choke if you use it at all push it off as soon as the bike starts and if you have to idle it up till it warms up use you throttle lock. For the rest you need to come up with what jets you are running and what carb and what intake wimmer you are running. And if you change anything you need to reset your carb.
