I have a 2004 big dog mastiff, just noticed a few months ago the head light started to flash on and off and sometimes not even come on all together. If you put it on high beam it stays on with no issues. Has anyone comes across this problem? Thanks

Come on guys. Sarcasm is what someone called me out on one day. AKA (Raywood) Maybe he just needs a little encouragement to post an intro. Have you checked the headlight wiring harness behind the lamp? Possible need to install a new headlight connector. It has been known to burn up before.

welcome!

Don't listen to them dog! The headlight oil and fluid level is OK. It would cause that problem, even if it were low!

No. It wasn't sarcasm. Everyone here has their opinions and not everyone will agree but that is what America is all about. What we don't want is "open forum" insults or flaming" or telling a fellow member to F**k off, that just gets out of hand and leads to other issues. We have the PM service here if you have issues with another member and recommend all to use it.

This thread is just everyone having fun and hopefully dirwood will come back and introduce himself to our large family here and continue enjoying the site and all the members here for who they are.

:flag:  :flag:

Maybe someone else playing around here could be misunderstood as sarcasm. I hope he gets his bike fixed some how.

Bikers Dream made a great observation, and some will remember when this WAS an issue for several others.

When there is no real Intro, we tend to have fun with the newb. NOT posting a real Intro is the same as not showing Respect to the other Forum members.

For the record, Dirwood posted this in the Intro section, I moved it to Help Wanted and sent a PM to Dirwood explaining this.

Dirwood. How old is the battery, what brand and how many CCA's is it, and do you keep this dog on a battery tender.

Looking forward to your posts in the forum.:2thumbs:

AND, gonna need pics of the scoot.

Sometimes you never know what the poster is meaning with a post when you don't know the person and alls you get is what they are typing from behind a keyboard. That's why we recommend use of the emoticons on the right. :D If a sarcastic comment is made and followed by this symbol :)whoop:) then you know they are just having fun but if not then the members are left to their own thoughts and that can lead to "hate" threads. :D
