I adjusted the clutch just as described in the help thread. Was having hard shifting and hard to find neutral. That is all fixed but now when I put in first gear and crack the throttle engine revs with little power to pull the bike forward but very slowly it will shift into all gears but again no torque to pull bike forward. Any suggestions- I tried to adjust the clutch cable but still gets the same reaction. Any help would be appreach.

Sounds like you may have screwed the pushrod in to far and it's not engaging properly. Re-adjust it and try again. Do you have the manual? If not I can email the scanned pages to you.

follow the instructions to the letter or you will have either creep or slippage. gotta be right.

+3...sounds like slippage to me . It is a damn finicky adjustment, very easy to go too far either way. Not much of a window for the sweet spot. 1/4 turn too far on the cable will do the same thing.

Got it thanks again. I think I have found the spot without slippage or creaping on the clutch rod. Its great to have a site with people who can and will help. Thanks to all!!:whoop::cheers:
Cool,
Glad you got it worked out.....
This is a pretty awesome forum with awsome members in in. Many have stepped up and helped me in the past which gives me a ready made riding list to meet them each..

i found after a test ride it may still slip just a bit. If this happens go counter-clockwise 1/8 of a turn after the initial 1/4 turn and re-check. Hope this helps.
