I noticed the one on the right not lining up too - I would want them out of there. Take a look at these - fully adjustable

If you look closely you will also see that the 2 shock rod ends are different. One has a longer straight section.

They are not different, they are just cut in different places. All of this is stated in the above post

They aren't the adjustable ones but they are the replacements and could save you a LOT of money.

I would honestly be concerned with safety. If it were me I'd get rid of those jury rigged shocks. You really have no way of knowing what grade of materials were used when those things were modded.

I think if you read the previous post you will discover that is the very thing I am doing...

If I swapped mine out it would be for a set with adjustable shock valving. I really feel my bike could use a softer setting and that would help put a little more power down. At 180 lbs I feel it's been set up for heavier riders or even 2 up. Not ideal....

I have a 2003 Mastiff. I love the bike and want to ride it every Day. But the suspension is a little too stiff in the rear for the bad roads here in the Philippines. Is there a way I can make it softer in the rear without buying new shocks ?
