My rear light assembly has come loose on my 04 Pit Bull. I can not see any bolt or screw on the in side when I remove the LCD light. Do I have to remove rear wheel to get to the backside of the fender strut in order to tighten? Or is there a way to remove the strut without removing rear wheel?

Yes, on the 04 and older you'll find the bolt on the inside of the fender.

Welcome to the forum.

Remove the seat. Where the struts mount to the frame you will see 2 bolts on each side. Remove the rear bolts on both sides and just loosten the 2 bolts in the front. Now just swivel the fender up pivoting on the 2 strut bolts that you left in. This will give you the room you need to tighten the blinker bolt.

You can get to them without removing anything. I do it all the time.

on my 04 chopper, I just remove lens cover then gently pull LED board out and behind it is a 7/16 nut to snug up then your good to go

Thanks on my 04 the bolt was not under the seat but I did find a single bolt by the oil pan drain plug. I removed it and the 2 bolts at each strut. Disconnected the the wire harness and the fender was off in less than 5 min. Thanks your suggestioned helped. The wireing to the light runs through the middle of the nut and the nut is reccessed so you can only get to it with a socket.......So I had to remove the wires from the quick connect to the LED so I could pull the wire out and get a socket on the nut. One of the tin connectors came off while doing this. The nut is now nice and tight but I am having a hard time finding the tin female connector I need. Any suggestions on where to find them. I think it is about .062 size.
