Thats my problem I think, its puling to the right. Rear tire out of alignment maybe

Does this make me look fat?
I would think that is pretty severe for just alignment. But you can make a simple alignment tool as I did (thanks to chucktx) with a coat hanger and a zip tie to verify your alignment.

Just an FYI to all the 250 rear people. AVON quit making the VENOM 250/18 that our bikes came with. I loved these tires and they wore nice and round. No chicken strips on these tires. But I picked up a nail the other day and now am forced to seek an alternative skin.

I believe they changed the tred pattern and it is now called the cobra.

Low Down Chop Shop
The Metzlers wear like that because they are their Sportbike racing compound. It is a dual compound and it wears like that right were it transitions from the harder to the softer compound. The dual compound was not made to be run on these types of bikes.

I was at a bike night one evening and there were 4 American Ironhorse Texas Choppers all sitting in a row and all four Metzlers on all four bikes looked exactly the same as that and this pic. I have always run low pressure at under 30 lbs and nevr had my Avon Venoms wear like the Metz do. I have the Avon Cobras now and love them!!!

Here are my buddies Metzlers. All four Metlers he has run in the last 4 years look like this. And after the first couple he was anal about watching the tire pressure and they still wear the same.

At the arrows is where the tread compound transitions from the softer to the harder compound is what the dealer told him and that there is nothing that can be done about how the Metz wears on a Chopper.

Buy Avons and don't deal with this crap.
