HeadLight Problem

Well I read the HOW to on changing the headlight.
Bought the new bulb, bought the 1/16" allen
While trying to loosen the front allen it was VERY VERY tight.
After the third try, I heard that oh no sound off the allen stripping out as the allen wrench spun.

* I swear they used locktite on all the spots they shouldn't and not where they should have (had a mount bolt on the ignition switch to head that would loosen up when I first got it, I couldn't loosen and remove front axle with hand tools)

Anyhow -- once I remove that bugger, anyone know what size it is so I can replace it, since there may not be enough of it left to tell.

Thanks
Mike

FYI -- Instead of the PIAA bulb I'm going to try a SilverStar and see how that works.

I recommend drilling it out and tapping it to a larger size. I've done this and it's way easier to work with...and yes, I always use blue loctite on it as well. Never had a problem since I went to the larger size allen

Locktite's not the real problem - it was acting like it had red loctite when purple or green (can't remember which) is appropriate for that size screw.

thanks, looks like I'm breaking out the drill this weekend.
