CLUTCH CURIOSITY......

TRUE COLORS COLLISION
I have seen that BDM makes a kit that helps ease the pull of the clutch lever....the name escapes me.....i think its cost is around the $200 mark......
Then i see how alot of you are PRO change your clutch guys anyway.....when you have changed your original stock clutch to lets say this bandit clutch assembly i would assume you automatically alleviate the slippage that seems to be so common but does the lever get easier to pull????I have allready been stuck on the beltway 3 times this year and my left hand was definately feeling it........Does this 'kit' BDM sells actually make it worth the $200 you have dropped by purchasing it????

I got a Bandit and the BDM easy pull kit. The stiffness with the Bandit will depend on how many shims you use but I use two and it was a very hard pull. The BDM soft pull kit made a big difference but the bit I didn't like was that you had to buy the clutch pack with it, which I didn't want and haven't used. If you can get just get the ball & ramp assembly then that would be better. I heard / read somewhere you can but I don't know.
