2005 Pitbull
Hey guys/gals,
Just recently, when riding my '05 Pitbull, smoke will bellow out the exhaust when I come to a stop, but not every time. Probably once every 10 stops, smoke will come out like it's getting stored up somewhere and then gets released into the cylinder. It's white smoke and very much the smell of oil. I have not checked my plugs yet but figured with all the smoke, they may soon foul. Bike is running great! No misses, spits or sputters. Just an embarrassing amount of smoke that will fog up anything close to me. After I take off, the smoke stops and may not happen again for several more stops. I can ride an hour or two without it happening, but then when I bring the bike to a stop, it happens. Any ideas on what may cause this? Oil consumption does seem to have increased.
