EHC dramas anyone help

Gooday all. I have had my 04 Ridgeback since new, never had a single lick wrong with it. 3 weeks ago I flew back to the states to pick up an 06 ridgeback I bought. So I wanted to take the two in for servicing prior to coming to Sydney Australia. Seems all was working fine before I left the 2 bikes but when I went to the dealer he says i need a new EHC but no one has one or will have one before end of August! So with these two horses due to board a ship in 3 weeks is there ANYONE who has had the drama and what other options are there to rectify this bs???

Yeah, what Raywood said....dump the EHC and put a wire plus in...about the same price.
takes a novice less than a day to do it..and no more problems..

If your dealer is telling you that you need a new EHC because something is wrong with them then rewiring the bike might be a prudent idea due to location. Although, if the new EHC is needed because of some sort of mod status and you won't be charged for them, let them ship them to you!
