i have a harley davidson battery in my bike that works great, some guys have the big boar and braille battery that also work well, the harley battery is rated at 430 cca's,remember these bikes need a good strong battery,if your riden 200miles or so i would think your charging system is working ok:)

these bikes take alot out of a battery to start it up,, if the charging system isnt working correct it will drain it fast..

check the rest 1st.. charge bat.. start bike, check if system is charging,, 13-14.5 vdc to battery.. if not check output from stator.. do a search its all on the site..if the stator is puttin out about 20-40 vac you should be good.. check to see if breaker or fuse is triped or blown.. if all this is correct check starter.
