Hello gang, let me start out by saying this forum has been one of the best places on line to hangout. I have an 08 Pitbull that I really like, but it has done nothing but confuse the hell out of me. This may take a minute. Bought the bike with 438 miles on it from a harley dealer while in afghanistan last summer. Got home in Sept. got a license and off I go. Bike garners tons of attention, and it is sweet. Only issue was the speed, which I have sitting in the box new; getting digital when they come in; so it will be for sale; Everything is OK, added new pipes, and many other accessories. Now the trouble, I ordered a HID light, it did not work, but Jake sent me what I needed, and not it does work except it goes out when I wrap on it because I can't keep it tight enough in the bucket because I think I my have taken it (aluminum ring)on and off way too many times due to the bulbs kept blowing because I did not get the damn thing tight enough:bang:. Fast forward to Nov. I am invited by the local HD guys to ride in the parade of lights. All was well until a guy with a 103 says I will eat the puppy alive, he had major work done to his bike and spit out some nice numbers. So I allowed my ego to get the best of me. So 3 weeks later the bike is in for service, and I had a 600, zero deck, and new springs added bike dynoed at 112 and 122 respectively, felt I had something for him. Get the bike home, had a nice day, take it out, its popping like a SOB and worse yet, it pinging now. Motor is sounding different kind of a whine sound in the bottom when you ride. So I call the guy, he makes a few suggestions and I have a problem. So I order the thunder heart, install it set at 2 Like Sachs suggested and by the way I have my stock pipes back on. Bike sounds like shit to me, but this is where I may be wrong, because i have no reference point, this is my first bike and I have no one other than the local HD shop who can work on it out in the middle of nowhere SD. Latest issue is that I did an oil change and I know I put in 3.75 at first but I cant get a f'n drop of oil to show up on the dipstick. Where is the damn oil going? I read the manual over and over can't figure it out. Added another 1/4 qt,I don't know what to do next, really wishing I had gotten the 67 chevelle instead, but I want to win this. I did use the scavenger so maybe I let too much through; but I don't want to over fill it.

I saw AIHswank Smoke a HD with a built 106 S&S kit on his 111 Iron horse with his biotch on the back.

I think you got to have a pretty bad HD to beat a S&S

I agree about the sportster comment Mobsta. My old sporty nightster would beat numerous bikes off the line to mid range, but it couldn't keep up at top end.

3.75 just as the manual stated, now 4 due the scavenging and dumping some.

Yeah I saw these numbers, I ordered the dual runner and the V&H 2 into 1, I checked the oil on the stand.

I agree with the Sportster comments. My wife's 1200 Sportster with intake, rejet and exhaust would eat most any cruisers lunch. It is scary fast. My old VMax had a hard time keeping up with it.
