Battery Question

So I was at Myrtle Beach from wed. to sun. My bike was not on a tender while at the rally. on friday we went down south about a 30 mile ride. We made a gas stop and I turned my bike off. When I went to start the bike all I got was a click. Waited a few and tried again and it started. Well for the rest of the week when I would try to start the bike it some times it would start and some times it would click and I would have to push start the bike. When I got home today I put it back on the tender and waited about two hours and it started with no prob. Im thinking my starter is going out but wanted to ask about the battery. Also when I turn the key on it goes through the normal cycle with the tach sweep. Thanks for the help and yes I did a search before asking.

Always on a tender. This was the first time I could not keep on a tender because I had to park away from our condo.

Thats all I needed to hear. Get away from those they are total crap when it comes to our bikes. Go with Braille, HDs theres a couple others on here that some of the guys have benn succesful with but get away from the Interstate because that is yo problem.
Whatever battery you get make sure it has at least 300CCAs or more. Braille's got one that kicks out 425CCAs. If I had known about it I would have gone with it but I ended up with an HD that I was told put out 425CCAs, typical shop crap, but it really only puts out 310. Still I have had this battery in my K9 for about 4 years now with ZERO issues. Mind you I keep it on a tender but anyone who doesn't is only lookin to replace their battery more often.

I got a interstate 310 & have had no issues (yet) it was only about 85 bucks new... it stays on a tender when not in use unless @ a bike event.. I got it over a yr ago.. still running strong.. I think it has alot to do with alot of short trips..stop & starting often..

Can't argue with success but I've heard way more stories of failures with Interstate than success butttttt gotta give props if it works.
