do a search & check if the light come on the ehc when the key is turned on.... check all elect connection on the battery.. how many miles on the bike.. as if its alot that might be the reason for a lose wire somewhere due to viberation..

In your first post you said the battery is good and holding a charge. Did you measure the voltage? Do you have a minimum of 12.8 volts? How old is the battery? Original? Is it kept on a tender? Do you have power to your headlight and signals?

if the battery checks out like you said.... then check all elect.connectors.. key switch.. even the main harness connections on the ehc like dead said.. once you get it running you need to check the charging system for proper charging...

Another round please
Battery has to be in great shape, not just good shape. Its the cause of many problems if it's not doing it job.

pulled the battery, tested the battery, battery still pushing 12.8. went through each set of wires leading from the battery and found a ground wire dangling not even attached. thatll do it. i also agree that the battery is a bitch to remove. thanks for helping with my issue. now i know exactly where to go with my questions.
