Cable lengths

I was installing my cruise-mate and noticed my throttle cable was frayed. I figured I might as well replace both the throttle cable and the idle cable. I found the BDM part numbers, but I can not find the lengths listed anywhere for these cables. I've searched the forum for cable lengths with no luck, but have found several threads on adjusting. I know I could take the cables off and measure, but still trying to fit in a ride or two on sunny days and just want to order and then replace. Does anybody know what length cables I need to order for a 2005 Bulldog? Is there a particular brand recommended, like Barnett?

I run Barnett 37" on mine, but no longer have the stock bars...your mileage may vary.

I went through this nightmare we have the new style cable ends where it goes into the controls and the through(if I remember 5 inches versus the new which is 3.5)of the old 70`s Harleys, what I wound up doing was changing the loom down on the carb to the taller S&S and then I could run any new style cables I wanted too.. cause I changed to the Rigid pullback bars and had to add 8 inches on the throttle and idle

thanks........ see the problem is.....BD has them on backorder and I cant seem to get one so I can enjoy my bike soooooooo I was going to look around at the local HD dealers and see if I could find one til that one gets here!! so is there anything special about them???

dont get the ones with the threaded ends. you want the ones with the little circlip on the end for quick connect/release.
