Check your splines on your clutch hub. Mine were chewed up and I had to replace the whole clutch assembly.

Noticed my clutch was slipping at 450 miles when I started to give it more juice

Dealer checked it and found bad clutch. Going to replace clutch plates and hopefully this will correct the slipping issue

In 3rd gear at 50 mph there is a rattling sound that is annoying as well

Sometimes I hear a squealing sound at low power when the clutch lever is pulled in

Any input is appreciated

ok.... So I put in the new clutch plates today... and boy what a surprise... my mind was wondering what kind of basket I had... I have read the posts on the old style breaking... I was pleasantly surprised when I opened up the primary...
It looks like a bandit?!?! It doesn't say bandit on it.. but it was a solid billet cover with 4 screw holes... didn't say bandit on it though...?? (wish I would have taken some pictures!) It DID have 12 energy one plates.... I put back in the 9 energy one plate kit... went in great and is running strong!!! just wonder if that was a bandit?
