Bent Starter Motor Shaft

Now I have done a search and got a little info but not enough.
I know our starters are made by Accumax. Does anyone know if we can get repair parts from Accumax.
The starter motor shaft gear end has gotten tweaked, probably has somethin to do with the blown motor I'm sure, and I just need to repalce that inner shaft.
Any ideas or information would be greatly appreciated.

Curtis, I scored a spare starter motor from eBay and it's packaged in a Ultima box. The styrofoam inside looks like the original packaging but it could be someother box. Many have had there starter motors re-built on here and report that a starter re-build shop can readily replace the parts within our starters with common components so that may be your best bet to check with a re-build shop in your area!

Watchin one right now thats at 129 bucks with 10 hours to go. Gonna take the starter motor down to Performance Choppers later, when I pick up my motor, and see if they can help.

I got mine for $60 and have seen many of them go for about the same so keep watching. He always has one listed.

So I have worked through the BS and found that our starters, at least the 06 K9, were made by "Nippendenso". So aftermarket parts are available through Nippendenso dealers. After I get through fixing mine I will post the part numbers.

I have seen starters rated at 1.8kw and 2.0 kw... listed on e-bay, any idea which one came on our 05's? or dose it matter ? Bigger better

2.0 with 2.4 max. I posted the sheet on it here last year. You get a "dyno" type sheet with all the specs and what it's rated at on all our re-built starters. This is for 05 and newer.

I got a guy I work with that cuts us a pretty good deal on the "Nippendenso". 1.4kw and 2.0kw. Chrome and black.

We cant touch the Ebay deals that are out there but if someone wants new, let me know.

There are a couple of offerings from our distributor Kustomworks. The brand name is Killer Watts but that is Kustomworks brand for it. Not sure who is making it for them but if the price is right, might be a good backup option or quick fix.

Ok got the armature in and I swear I think it is the exact manufacturer of the original armature because they are identical.
I also changed the starter motor case O ring from a .06 to a .07. The factory O ring was not sealing to the case which allowed water into the strater motor and ruined the bearings and corroded the brush plate. I am also going to add the mod for the oil return as I think that is a good idea.
