The red fault lit is your air-ride. Do you have air ride on your scoot? The other green and yellow lits are ok.

Your wiring harness has connectors for the air-ride so looks like you have a ground in this line. But it wouldn't have anything to do with effecting the starting.

Sorry Ray, But I have to disagree.

It could have to do with the Starter "Switch".
Due to that's the only thing that the starter and the air ride circuits have in common.

Or possible something interferring with the air ride connector that's tucked down around in the lower part of the battery box compartment.

That's right, forgot the air ride is controlled by those two buttons on the bars. :2thumbs:
