As I have said before.....putting a windshield on a chopper is like dressing your Rottweiler or pitbull dog in a pink sweater. :whoop:

But to each his own.

I have a windshield.......... on my Suzuki where it belongs.

ROB as mentioned above just do a search on the subject if you want to hear all the pros.....and insults !!!!!!

You will never hear the end of this. To each is own is the best answer. If you like it and can afford it do your thing. I have a windshield on my Fat Boy on my wife's Trike and on my Big Dog Mastiff. Why, cause I want to. There are dudes on here that have floor boards on their dog, I hate floor board, so I took them off my HD Fat Boy. But that is my taste and again to each is own. :job::job:

I have a 15 inch Memphis Shades, quick-detachable windshield for my 08 k9. Love it for the long trips. You can ride twice as far and easier with a windshield. Then I take it off when I think I need to be kewl.....hahahaha. Do a search and you'll see pics of it. And it's your bike.....do what you want with it.

BADOG. I have one on my 05 chopper. It does help here in the south with bugs and such. It will knock down just enough wind at 70 mph to make it comfortable. If all you do is ride around town I wouldn't have one but out on the road it is good to have.

Yes they do help at highway speeds. Easy on and off. With 23,000 miles on your dog no doubt you do a lot of riding. If your just going from bar to bar or letting it sit in the garage.....you don't need one. I use mine on long trips and its nice. But then again I'm not worried about how cool I look either. I'm just enjoying the trip. Hope this helps :zz2cents:

I put one on my 06 Mastiff and it makes a huge difference. Instead of the air naling me in the chest, it hits about half way up my forehead. I still get wind all over, but the main thrust of it goes pretty much above me. I love it. Also I think it looks good on my bike.

My feelings on this site are well known on the subject. The BD wind vest goes on & off in 10 seconds (after initial install), so if you're concerned the cool guys will give you shit at Bike Night, pop it off....and those longer rides you can smile because it is very effective at deflecting wind, bugs, and various debris. This is what it looks like on my 03 Chopper. :hi:

But whatever floats your boat.

HAD ONE ON MY 2000 PRO-SPORT FOR A WHILE,TIL I GOT SOME GREAT PRESCRIPTION BIKER GLASSES.MY OTHER GLASSES WOULD MAKE MY EYES WATER UP BAD.ONCE I RODE ABOUT 60 MILES AT NIGHT,WAS SURE THANKFUL FOR THE WINDSCREEN THEN.TONS OF BUGS. MY OPINION I THINK IT LOOKS BETTER WITHOUT IT,SO NOW ITS OFF.
