Man i dont know who to aproach since i thik ive done everything that u could possibly think, have a problem with my 09 Ridgeback Voltage Regulator, first of all the dealer doesnt have the part and i called the BD Factory and theyre also in back order from who ever is making the VR for them. my bike its been sitting at dealer for over a month and now it seems that its gonna be sitting there for quite a while since they keep telling me that as soon as they get the part they will get my toy ready, but in the other hand they also said they have people waiting for their bikes for over 10 months now i dont know if theyre waiting on the same part but at this point my mind keeps messing with me and at times i wonder if a made the right dessicion on purchasing this bike.. Hope im not Dissing anybody out there. I just think that i have to let it all out at least thats how i feel after seing my bike park during Summer Time
So to any body out there that can help me with this problem i will be in great debt for helping me. The worst scenario is that i have Bike Rally and Show to attend this coming month, and i hope i dont have to attend it in my Truck pulling and empty Trailer..,, :(:bang::angry:

go get it and fix it yourself.not that hard there's lots of post on here to help.fuck the warrenty.at least you will know who fucked it up.having a bike like that is gonna require some mechanical no how or wait till someone has time to do it for you.fyi if your stuck on the side of the road at least you'll know your bike good enough to get it home. just my thought...............................

Get a lawyer and investigate the lemon laws in your state.

I am thinking BDM would authorise a non BDM part and warranty the bike if pushed.

But what do I know? I bought an AIH. They went out of business a bunch of times.

What Eric said, go get it and install your own Regulater. I have a brand new Ridgeback as well but i purchased it knowing if anything went wrong I would probably be stuck repairing it myself right now even though it has a warranty. Plenty of info on here about how to repair it, and if you need an EHC I just might have one for sale, :)

Your dealer is most of the problem. My dealer installed a non-BDM VR and worked out the paperwork between them and BD. What you are going thru is bullshit!! Rodneys Cycle House is all about getting the person back on the road asap. Your dealer could give a shit!!

Go get your chopper and fix it Bro, I would never leave my bike at a dealer for that long over some BS part.

I agree with MisterMister...
Other bikes sitting for 10 months WTF:rant: Sounds like you need to find another stealer/service center or do it yourself.
