How have the set screws on the heat shields been?

I've been down that road. Love the look, hate the daily use.

MLB customs all the way. No problems yet with the set screws and do like the sound and look. I ride to work almost everyday and they rock! And the neighbors love them too

Medustas

Had to settle for MB Medustas. The pickins are not so good for RHD bikes unless you have a machine shop and patience. Actually prefer the long upswept look but no luck on fitment. Anyway MB pipes are asskicckers and loud enough to get pulled over.

I had them on my custom pipes... same thing. Some would never move. Others... shit I could loose 2 in a day. Red lock tite, loc washers... nothing would keep em in.

Big Radius, too. Yaaaaaaaawn!!! I love the sound, performance, craftmanships, look and everything else about the pipes. I'm just bored with how commonplace they are. Seems like 9 times out of ten, it's either Mean Mothers or BR. I want something different. Thinking about either extremely short Daisy Cutters or maybe some variation of upswept fishtails, reminiscent of Easyriders Captain America.

Nice pipe...looks real mean. Does your leg get burnt when you put your foot down? How does it mount....a free floater? How long you been running them? Do you scrape it on right turns?
Been thinking about getting something from Exotic Choppers. I like the Destroyer. But being that it is almost time to put the Dog to bed for the winter, I'm going to hold out and see if ChopperWerks gets some new styles out over the winter months.

Absolutely no burning of the leg...Pipes are free floaters and very light...The silver ceramic coating allows it to run cooler...5 min after running her, you can touch the pipes...Pipe does not scrape in right turns...Your peg will hit first...You shouldnt be hitting the pegs anyway...I love the pipes...Very Loud and Deep...Fantastic design and fitment...:)

Thanks for the reply. Those are some killer pipes!! How long did it take for you to get them once you placed the order? I assume there is no baffle?

I placed the order and approximately 10 days, I had them in my hand...The coating process took the longest...Pipes were made within the first day.
