Looking at buying an 07 Big Dog K-9 and was looking at what tuning it should be at. It has the following:

s&s dual runner 2 into 1 intake
XXX carb bored @ 7.6 mm
Stainless Creations Havoc II exhaust

What do you mean? Those mods won't do much more than stock. The carb will have better throttle response than stock. Ride it and you will love it. The seat of the pants HP will make you happy. Torque, not HP is whats fun. BDM has alot of that. Stop thinking and buy it. You can watch from the side of the rode, or get on the damn rode. Best of luck.

Oops! Should have read the rules first.

Been riding off and on for about 11 years. Started out on a bobbed 72 xs650, got away from that to let my rear end recover, purchased a 2007 V Star 1100 Classic a few years back and just recently sold it. Loved everything about the V Star but now looking to venture into the Big Dog world. Currently in the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. Joined in 2000, seen the world ten times over and then some. Been browsing the posts here on the forum and have found a lot of good info and knowlegable members and looking to learn as much about these scoots as possible.
