Might want to do some research on soda blasting, I am in the middle of doing a ground up on a CJ 5 and was talking to a friend who has 3 body shops here and also is working with Jesse James @ his new shop in Austin doing some paint work. Told him I was fixing to have it soda blasted and he said it was better to use fine sand at a lower pressure to prevent warping. He said he had seen soda blasted vehicles paint bubble due to the soda impregnating the metal and after being out in the sun after painted the small soda residue would then create a gas and cause the paint to bubble. I'm no painter by a long shot be I trust his experience so I'm going with the sand route hopefully in the next couple of weeks. Might contact Ed and see what his thoughts are.
