I,m having my heads ported polish and flowed running 204 cams ,1550 pistons having 18404-08 screaming eagle adjustable push rods ,read the valves were ok up to 595 should I have the 18013-03A performance valve spring kit installed to.

Go with what your head porter recommends.
With 204 cams, you can use the stock valve springs with NO issues. If your head guy sinks the valves, just have him shim the springs back to stock installed height.
Your stock springs are GOOD quality. The SE springs have too much pressure for low end cams.

You don't need different springs with the 204 cam. That cam is probably not the best choice if you are doing all that work to the heads etc, don't you have the 96in already? If you do the big bore you will be at 103in. That cam is going to be very mild esp. in a 103. I've built a few twin cams never used any cam smaller than the 211. Just my 2 cents.

What do you think of 254 or 259E with this combo or your recommendation.
