Frames

Does anyone know what frame is on the mutt i know the mutt is a bitsa bigdog used existing bits from different bikes to produce the mutt.
I think it is a rolling thunder frame, which i think is the same as a chopper and mastiff. If anyone can shed some light on this it would be much appreciated, it would be easier to buy bits if you know they intermatch.

Big Dog makes there own frames now. Easiest way to tell is to look at your top motor mount. If it's a Rolling Thunder frame you will see the "Maple Leaf" stamp on the boss there. But you have a BDM manufactured frame.

Ray, I thought BDM vendored some of their frames for their models. You saying they build all their frames? Interesting.:eek:

I think Ray is correct, BDM has a frame facility. Sam from Rolling Thunder helped
them set it up. Not shure what year though.

Well, they always used either Daytec or Rolling Thunder frames but when sales started skyrocketing back in 04/05 they built their own frame facility and now they make all of them. But it took a while and my first 05 frame was a Rolling Thunder and then when they replaced it I got a BDM frame.
I'm not sure when they phased out Daytec and Rolling Thunder but was probably around the 07 year.
