Speedo Face Popped off Housing

It was a little chilly this morning. When I started my 07 K9 the speedo fell out of the housing. I can not see any place for a set screw to hold it in. How is it the main unit held to the housing? I tried to push it back in, thinking it may pop back in but I don't see any ridges or anything like that.

There is a small countersunk screw in the bottom of the housing that holds it in. You have to take the 2 allen head screws out that hold the housing to the mounting bracket.

Been there, done that. Your bracket is probably broken. It is a lousy design made cheap metal. You can silicone the face in the housing for a temporary fix.
And Phatchopper is right, you have been busted by the intro police.

It was broken and looked like two seperate pieces. That is what confused me. Thanks for the help and I posted my intro. Don't want to break the rules, I am sure this forum will prove to be very valuable.

If you had the service manual it would have full descriptions of how it goes together. Get some Loctite and start using it as your speedo bucket came loose. Welcome to the site
