Evening Folks,
Question here. I was doing a little cruise and lost my timing cover screw out of the block. The engine started squirting oil and smoking and before you knew it, I realized it was my bike! Anyways, back home after getting towed and now need to replace that screw. What size? Pitch? Special order etc.....

Thanks in advance!

Common size, you could get one from any HD shop or any of the mail order catalogs.

Use thread locker?
I would but it has an oring on it and I've never lost one in 30 yrs of riding. Someone must have not put it on very tight. But go down to your HD shop tomorrow and get a new one

Roseville isn't too bad. Where in S-Cal are you? I'm coming down there Sunday with truck & trailer/bike in tow. Doing a ride next Friday and hitting Cooks in Santiago.

Tommy, wish I could hook up with you but I'm leaving for Mexico on Friday morning. Have fun at Cooks and don't forget to check out Hells Kitchen on Ortega Hwy
