I am replacing my drive belt on a 2004 107in. are either of the large nuts 1n1/4 main and 1n1/8th clutch housing left hand thread?? Also are there torque specs for reassembly? Any ideas on jamming the chain while loosening the abouve. I am in Manila and there is 0 support here, only BDB forums. Thanks in advance and ride safe back home

Gerry, your talking about your primary chain if your describing the main shaft and clutch hub nut. Yes the clutch hub nut is left hand threaded. Many ways to get it off, I use a 12" extention wrapped in a shop towel. Others use wooden blocks or if the bike is not on a lift just put it in gear and lock the rear brake and break it loose.
Why do you think you need to replace the chain? They can last a long time.

As Ray said, I use a couple of rags to lock in the movement in the chain but I use a electric impact wrench to break it free. After a couple of burst, it spins right off....

I think there is a thread here on the torque specs. My manual is back in the US or I would look them up for you
