Help!!

Can someone help me out here?? I'm picking up my 2005 Ridgeback on Saturday. The owner has 3" forward controls & is 6'7". I'm between 5'10" & 5'11". Anyone know if I'll even be able to reach the controls to get it home? Will I want to go back to stock..Any help with your Bog Dog expertise would be appreciated. I am just getting off a Yamaha Warrior & moving to my dream bike. I'm assuming I'm gonna to be offering my 3" extenders for a stock setup after I get back..

It will be a little bit of a stretch but you should be ok short term. You will probably want to change them eventually. I am 6'5" and have the extenders but they really aren't that far out there. I wish they were a bit longer. I have had several friends under 6' ride my bike and they were ok.

you can always do like shortround did in I/J "temple of doom" and strap some blocks of wood to the bottom of your feet.


just put the info in the swap meet section when you are ready. somebody will probably jump on them.

You'll be able to get home....but it will be an interesting ride. Nestle your ass up hearer the tank. You won't be sitting deep if the pocket if its the stock saddle, that's for sure.

You should be ok. My wife is 5'10" and she can reach the controls on mine, not that she has ever ridden it. Oh, my daughter is a bit shorter and she can reach them , a little streach. She was going ride it the other day and she said the wind was blowing too hard. You'll be alright. I would get the short person seat and leave the forward controls on it, gives ya the recliner feeling.

that's some good advice Ray. Where do I go abouts buying a short person seat..I like that option I think...

If you have at least a 34" reach on your legs, you will love the extended controls. Less than that, stock controls or a push up seat. I'm 5'10"
