have you adjusted the cables , if they are not adjusted correct it can stick . google how to and you will find out how to adjust it ( same as a harley )

The throttle grip maybe pushed up to far on the handle bar and causing it to bind on the end of the handle bar or may just need to remove and lubricate between the grip and the handle bar. I would also lube the cables.

Another thing to look at if the cables are correct and the grip is not pushed in to far on the handlebar is the plastic sleeve inside the grip. They split causing the issue you have. I have had this happen. Had the same issue you have and when I pulled the grip to make sure it was lubed on the sleeve I found the plastic sleeve split down one side. When I replaced it everything worked as it should again. If you have a cruise mate installed, make sure it is not adjusted in too far.

If you have a cruise mate check inside and see if there is any metal, after mine was installed it was fine for about a year , then throttle would stick - when I took assem. apart found metal pieces inside once removed worked fine.

:2thumbs:this is the same problem I had the plastic split

Didn't see this mentioned, but the first thing I would check would be the throttle lock screw under the controls between the cables. If the screw is too tight, this would definitely cause it to stick. It's the K.I.S.S. factor - check the easy stuff first!!

Good luck!!
