Shit! mine is still is messed up... the light works until you gas it or rev it up..it goes out...like a short or something ...horn works..hell everything works...Iam a nervous wreak about this...I havent tore into the light yet but iam hopen like hell thats all it is...just a bulb :bang:
Open up the head light like I did, and see what you got going on in there.

It you ran 12 volts directly to the horn and got nothing it is no good. You can try tapping on it with a mallet and test it again.
If that doesn't work just smash it with a big hammer and throw it away.

I wonder if its a ridgeback thing or what? The ground wire on mine broke right behind the headlight plug a year ago. Re soldered it and back to business! My horn bracket broke years ago and i just chucked the whole assembly, been using my middle finger ever since and it works better!

Soldered connections in high vibration conditions are not recommended. That's why aircraft uses crimped connections.

Don't know why you worry about a horn; cage drivers don't pay any attention anyway. Too bad we can't use more lethal methods.
