I know there are a lot of discussions on this but I still haven't found the one I saw awhile ago for the best place to purchase tires and should I stay with AVON or go to the Metzler?

Shane (narow37) purchased from The Tire Cave. not sure if they had the best price, but he has 1200-+ on his back tire and it started to split like the others. here is the kicker, he called them and they are supposed to have him a new one on the way even without the bad one being in transit. can't beat that for customer support.

if you go with metzeler, you may want to think about dropping down to the 280 instead of the 300 to clear the belt. just sayin'.

Never bought tires from denniskirk.com but he shows both cobra and venom MH90-21 front tires in stock. I have to order a front very soon and not sure where to buy.

have to get that info from the manufacturer. don't mean to be short, but don't want to get me or you in trouble. handling should be close to the same since Metzeler runs a little bit big.

So you mean to tell me a 280 Metzler will fit on our 10.5" rim? Has anyone done it?

I just noticed it on the bdm performance page and what others have said of the metzler 300 rubbing so it made sense. I have not tried it but maybe calling bdm performance could help someone looking for answers and wanting metzlers. If someone does call and get more info I hope they chime in so we all know more.

well I put the Metzler 300 on and it cleared the belt, not by much but it cleared

How much is not by much. My venom only clears by about .125 at max.

same here...I am getting new tires front and back probably next week...going to stay with Avons. I got 9600 miles on my original ones...
